The interviewer is clearly a twat or (more likely) Baiting Daniel to get a good, senstaional video clip to promote his crap-tastic site… and in that sense, it’s worked. It’s also more than likely that it’s staged (in which case, Negranu deserves a ‘viral oscar’).
Reardless…
The link is old, the site is down for maintenance, and I like Negranu (met him once at The Madison in Toronto). I also laughed out loud* after watching.
*A couple of people have asked why I don’t ‘LOL’. Short answer is, I find it incredibly irritating…like sand-paper-on-nipples irritating.

Posted by: | CommentsI admittedly owned a few Star Wars action figures as a child. OK, I had a tonton too. And the millenium falcon complete with (battery sucking) flashing lights and sound effects. And an AT-AT. And even a giant carrying case for the figurines (not dolls) shaped like Darth Vader’s head. God I was spoiled…
Anyway, depite my obvious childhood fetish, even I can’t geek out to this degree. It’d ruin the game.
You’re trying to bluff and some guy’s talking like yoda – ‘raise you I will’.
Then he raises ou two ‘obiwans’.
Some douche that folds to your pre-flop raise says ‘the force is strong in this one’.
Another one waves his hand across the table and says ‘this is not the pot you’re looking for’.
And come to think of it, what’s worth more? A yoda? A Darth?
Is an ewok a small blind? A wookie the big blind?
The possibilities (each geekier than the last) are endless…
I see your yoda and raise you three vaders...my son.
